nice but....

The canopy was beautiful when I put it up in May.I now wish that I had ordered the beige one because now it's August and the blue top has faded from the sun.The waterproofing is still holding up well. It's been great to protect us from bugs and the frame has held up well in strong winds. I will probably contact the company to see if I can purchase a new top.I am glad I bought this item I just wish I had picked the lighter color.More detail ...

works great if you take caution

I needed a canpoy quick and was enticed by the extremely low price. I read all the reviews on the similar canopies and was a little discouraged by the negative reviews. Ultimately I calculated that buying it was still cheaper than renting so I took a chance. I was amazed at how quickly it arrived: overnight! Impressive considering the shipping was FREE!!! As for the canopy itself it is really a 3-4 person operation despite what the instructions say about 2 people being able to open it. The frame itself is not as sturdy as the more expensive models but if you have enough people to help you it is very easy to set up. The instructions are EXPLICIT about not setting it up or leaving it open in windy/rainy weather. Many of the negative reviews I read concerned the canopy's inability to weather a storm. Well it clearly says it is not designed to do so. Putting it away was a snap and it comes with a cover/bag. I recommend this canopy but only if you are willing to treat it with caution. 12x15 party tent

I buy this same tent every year the ONLY one that looks great and has lots of room. The only problem is that it is NOT waterproof and the D-ring material rots fastbut I do keep it up an entire summer in wind and rain on a platform I built. Don't know what I'd do if this style was discontinued - probably make exact tent from marine fabric!Hate the ones that look like camping gear.More detail ...

So far so good

Put the canopy up the day before a big storm hit in Southern California and it held through the storm. So far so good. It looks very nice - better than the $80 ones we had purchased previously. It does pool water in two places when it rains - have to dump it out to protect the tent. pop-up problem

This canopy has very strong legs but the inner metal work easily bends rendering the canopy virtually useless. The first strong gust of wind and it was over. Yes it had been staked and weighted the legs were fine.More detail ...

Fabulous product

I highly recommend this tent to anyone seeking one. With so many types and brands out there I took a risk and decided on this tent even though it did not have any reviews. I am highly impressed with the quality of this tent. The canopy and sidewalls are a nice fabric material not the cheap "tarp" material. The tent "pops up" easily though it will take two people to put it up and take it down. Once down it stores away easily in the storage bag. I can also verify that this tent does withstand pretty strong winds because every occassion that I have needed it it has been pretty windy out and nothing stayed in place except for our tent! Lightweight tent is the right price

After reading several reviews for this tent we knew when we purchased it that we were taking a bit of a risk. However given the amazingly cheap price compared to other similarly-sized tents we decided to go ahead and give it a try. The shipping was fast and we were able to track the tent as it traveled to us. When the box arrived it was pretty banged up and had a huge hole in one end. Once we sorted through all the pieces we were only short one of the 8 feet - not a major deal. We were able to build the tent with the provided VERY bare-bone directions (it took about 2 hours with 2 adults and a bunch of helping hands from kids) and it looked great once it was up! However do NOT plan on being able to use this tent if there is much of a wind - the poles are extremely light-weight and we did have some bend under high gusts. Along with the fact that the pieces were lightweight some of them did not "click" together as they are supposed to so until we got the tent well staked-down they tended to pull apart which made building it a bit frustrating. The canopy and sidewalls are made of a lightweight tarp but since they're white they look better up than you'd think.



Tent worked wonderfully for our evening party and came in handy when light rains came through the area. After the party (because I didn't have enough time before it) I called Golf Outlets of America with my order number and told them the tent had arrived missing one foot and that several of the poles were bent. The CS rep took all of my information and within a week I had replacement parts at no cost to me! Very responsive and receptive. Overall extremely pleased with the product. Yes it's a lightweight tent and yes it's not of the greatest quality. HOWEVER take a look at what else is out there... if you only need this for occasional use - it's the perfect solution! Stay away from this company!

My wife and I attempted to erect this canopy with poor results. The poles are made of light gauge metal and the canopy material is inferior. After erecting the frame we were discovered that the canopy did not even fit over the frame. We paid about $70 just for shipping on this product and would have to pay another $70 to return it if they would take it back. Stay away from this company.More detail ...
